THE SEA GROANED

Clock becomes sea.

Starts to strike,
becomes dry cosmos.

To begin with, the falling petals of cosmos.
And the violent keys split
to the second. Mechanical cut ear.

Sea motionless.
Time broken.

Again the
sea groaned
in the show-window.
